Fire Department
The Crosbyton Volunteer Fire Department serves a population of approximately 1500 within the city limits of Crosbyton and Crosby County. The department covers an area of over 500 square miles which is mostly rural, and often provides mutual aid with adjacent counties. The department consists of 16 volunteer members that meet and train on a weekly basis.
The Crosbyton Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection, promotes fire prevention and education, disaster planning and preparedness, rescue, and hazmat recognition and isolation.
