The Prairie Ladies Multi-Cultural Center contains the Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce office, a Transportation Exhibit, an old fashioned soda fountain, the “Prairie General Store” and the “Prairie Ladies” exhibit that the facility was designed to honor. The original Lamar/Lowrie Building was rehabilitated through the work of the Rio Blanco Heritage Foundation and grants from several organizations. Families also contributed funds to honor their matriarchs as one of the original Prairie Ladies listed below:
