With approximately 31,000 books are on the shelves at all times and the Library is a member of the giant Texas Library network, TELEX. As a TELEX member, the library can have any book or printed materials from other member library in a matter of a few days.

The library offers a summer reading program to students in elementary school, a community meeting room, a collection of local and area history, access to computers and Internet connections and the charm of a country home of limestone and timbers.
